Props can be used to enhance the intensity of the movements. It is for all fitness levels and promotes strength.
Barre & Strength 108
Barre classes are a great way to tone and sculpt muscles and burn calories. Some Ballet inspired moves are incorporated. These workouts focus on toning the glutes, legs, arms, and abdominals. Muscles are worked to the point of fatigue and then released into stretching movements to create long, lean muscles. Classes are set to fun music. Class is suitable for all levels and can be modified when needed.
High energy, fun packed cardio class designed to build stamina, improve coordination, increase flexibility and create overall strength. Movements and combinations are inspired by various martial arts disciplines such as Tai Chi, kung fu, ji jitsu, capeira, and kickboxing.
This class is dance and movement with toning and core work. Come dance, flow, and get your body moving with weights, band work, and abs. Fun choreography will make this class go by so fast! Class is suitable for all levels.
Suspension & Strength
In this strong class we will be blending strength moves, core work, and TRX together. Weights may be used at times. Class changes weekly. Class is suitable for all levels.
A great place for beginners as well as those looking to slow down their yoga practice. This class is designed to accommodate all beginners - utilizing blocks, blankets and straps to find a stretch that is beneficial to all.
This flow class will incorporate a grounding centering warm up, slowly linked stretches, breath techniques, cool down and relaxation. Focusing on proper alignment and positioning, you will be guided by your teacher in the basics of flow yoga. The practice is suitable for all levels of students. The focus of the practice is to calm the mind, link breath to movement, and to cultivate a strong mind body spirit connection.
In this Hatha yoga class, the postures are designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely. We will end with a 10 minute savasana where Singing bowls will be played. Class is suitable for all levels.
Restorative Yoga is one of the best gifts you can give yourself. This gentle, therapeutic practice is all about letting the body open at it’s own pace. In this class we will use props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks etc. to support the body so that postures are held without effort or force. This class is open to all levels. Students are sure to find peace of mind and relaxation in this class.
Yin Yoga and Meditation
Yin is a quiet and restorative practice. Poses are all on the floor and held for 3-5 minutes which allows for the connective tissue to slowly open. This gentle practice is suitable for all levels of students. Yin compliments an active, yang lifestyle and it’s benefits are limitless. Yin prepares the mind and body for meditation. The class will conclude with 10 minutes of meditation.
Group Meditation with Tibetan Singing Bowls
Relax your mind, body and spirit while listening to the peaceful tones of Tibetan and Quartz crystal singing bowls. Geri Ann begins with leading the group in both breath work and chanting the bija mantras, transitions into a short guided meditation and follows with playing seven different sized bowls for the remainder of the meditation session. Get comfortable on your yoga mat or pillow and relax to the harmonious sounds of the bowls. Within minutes, many people find they easily drift off into a meditative state, allowing their bodies to engage in the self-healing of deep relaxation.
