Pilates is not about crunches! It was designed by Joseph Pilates to develop strength, flexibility, balance, and inner awareness. Pilates is designed to improve posture, increase flexibility, circulation, and balance. Slow, controlled, concise moves are the name of the game. Props can be used to enhance the intensity of the movements. It is for all fitness levels and promotes strength.
Pilates Level 1
This class is a gentler version of our traditional Pilates mat class and is recommended for individuals with little or no Pilates experience, or those who simply prefer a more gentle exercise class.
The class begins with a 10-minute warm-up to initiate a mind-body connection, followed by a series of precise exercises that are guided and controlled by the breath, and that focus on strengthening the abdominal muscles, glutes and back to unlock tight muscles, improve joint mobility, correct posture and restore muscle tone. The class concludes with a few yoga inspired stretches and final relaxation.
Pilates is a safe and effective exercise practice that is adaptable for all ages and fitness levels.
An hour of uniquely balanced Pilates mat moves and carefully complemented yoga flow sequencing. Pilates layered with yoga transitions so that muscles will be stretched as well as strengthened. All levels welcome.
Barre Strength & Strength 108
Barre classes are a great way to tone and sculpt muscles and burn calories. Some Ballet inspired moves are incorporated. These workouts focus on toning the glutes, legs, arms, and abdominals. Muscles are worked to the point of fatigue and then released into stretching movements to create long, lean muscles. Classes are set to fun music.
Suspension & Strength
In this strong class we will be blending strength moves, core work, and TRX together. Weights may be used at times. Class changes weekly. Suitable for all levels.
A blend of breath (Pranayama) and a warming of the body through stretching muscles and rotating joints helps the body and mind to discover one another.
A natural progression occurs through this gentle practice, in which the movement is slow and each movement is linked with your breath as the postures are entered gradually. This preparation and fluid entry into the postures (Asana) protects and nourishes the joints, muscles and connective tissue.
With the interplay of Breath and movement, modifications are offered thus making this class easily accessible to every body, regardless of whether you are new to yoga, a seasoned practitioner or simply needing a yoga practice to release stress and cultivate peace at the end of your day.

A heart centered, alignment based hatha yoga practice. Ashaya YogaⓇ blends precise therapeutic alignment with a spiritually uplifting philosophy drawn from Kashmir Shaiva Tantra. This method leaves you feeling strong, confident, peaceful, openhearted, and ready to engage with life wholeheartedly.
This flow class will incorporate a grounding centering warm up, slowly linked stretches, breath techniques, cool down and relaxation. Focusing on proper alignment and positioning, you will be guided by your teacher in the basics of flow yoga. The practice is suitable for all levels of students. The focus of the practice is to calm the mind, link breath to movement, and to cultivate a strong mind body spirit connection.
In this Hatha yoga class, the postures are designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely. We will end with a 10 minute savasana where Singing bowls will be played.
Restorative Yoga is one of the best gifts you can give yourself. This gentle, therapeutic practice is all about letting the body open at it’s own pace. In this class we will use props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks etc. to support the body so that postures are held without effort or force. This class is open to all levels. Students are sure to find peace of mind and relaxation in this class.
During this 60-minute Yoga Nidra class, your body will be cradled in a fully supported Savasana (Corpse Pose), limbs limp, breath quiet, thoughts drifting by. All traces of the day will fade away and stillness washes over you. Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness, is an ancient practice intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness.
Yin Yoga and Meditation
Yin is a quiet and restorative practice. Poses are all on the floor and held for 3-5 minutes which allows for the connective tissue to slowly open. This gentle practice is suitable for all levels of students. Yin compliments an active, yang lifestyle and it’s benefits are limitless. Yin prepares the mind and body for meditation. The class will conclude with 10 minutes of meditation.
Group Meditation with Tibetan Singing Bowls
Relax your mind, body and spirit while listening to the peaceful tones of Tibetan and Quartz crystal singing bowls. Geri Ann begins with leading the group in both breath work and chanting the bija mantras, transitions into a short guided meditation and follows with playing seven different sized bowls for the remainder of the meditation session. Get comfortable on your yoga mat or pillow and relax to the harmonious sounds of the bowls. Within minutes, many people find they easily drift off into a meditative state, allowing their bodies to engage in the self-healing of deep relaxation.
