In this workshop, you'll learn breathing techniques that promote optimal tissue oxygenation and activate your body's repair and recovery mode, calming your nervous system. Using soft foam rollers and gentle balls, we'll cultivate body awareness, encourage fluid movement, and foster a sense of inner softness.
Starting with the feet and legs, we'll ground the body by addressing the larger muscles. Massaging the feet sends safety signals to the brain, reducing pain sensations. Progressing to the hips and back, we'll release stiffness and facilitate an "internal massage" through the TRE® practice. Finally, we'll explore techniques for the head, neck, and hands.
This self-massage practice will prepare you for the transformative TRE® experience. TRE® is often described as an "internal massage" as it taps into your body's innate shaking mechanism to release tension. Beginning with the adductors and psoas muscle, the natural neurogenic tremor response gradually expands throughout your body, offering soothing relief and releasing tension from deep internal structures to the periphery. You'll emerge feeling centered, present, and at ease.
