Topics will include:
• What is the pelvic floor and what role does it have within our bodies
• What are the signs or symptoms that your pelvic floor may need some attention
• Lifestyle strategies to maintaining a healthy pelvic floor
• Simple exercises to optimize your pelvic floor function
This workshop is appropriate for anybody with a pelvic floor (that's everybody!) and may be especially valuable to:
Pregnant/postpartum people or those who are considering becoming pregnant soon
Individuals who are menopausal or peri-menopausal
Individuals who may be experiencing symptoms and want to learn more (example: incontinence, pelvic pain, or pelvic pressure/prolapse)

Karen Sullivan, PT, DPT is a physical therapist who has specialized in treating the pelvic floor since 2016. She graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UMASS Lowell in 2016, starting her career in the Boston area, where she had the privilege of being mentored by some of the leading professionals in pelvic health. She relocated to Vermont in 2018 where she continued her passion of empowering individuals to improve their pelvic health by providing them with education and tools to connect with and heal this unique and powerful part of their bodies.
